Gene joins Solmetex with over 20 years of experience within the dental industry. He began his career in dentistry with OraPharma, a division of Johnson and Johnson, as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing where he was instrumental in growing Arestin, a ground-breaking periodontal infection therapy product which quickly became the market leader. At Dentsply Sirona for the past 12 years, he served as the leader of the Global Restorative Products Group and leader of the Global Dental Implant Products Group. In these roles he grew Dentsply Sirona through Organic new product development and Mergers and Acquisitions. Having managed Dental businesses in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions, Gene is an experienced international business executive. Combined with his experience in R&D, Product Development, Marketing and Supply Chain, his deep background in the global marketplace will help Solmetex expand to new markets and meet clinical needs with new product solutions.

Chief Operations Officer Lauren has over 25 years of experience in the water treatment industry and has been with Solmetex since September 2000. Since starting with Solmetex, Lauren has evolved with the company and has seen it through many transitions. She has extensive experience in accounting, finance, sales and operations. “Working at Solmetex has allowed me to experience every aspect of business, whether it be accounting, sales or operations. Knowing we are helping the environment and providing total solutions to our customers makes me proud to be an integral part of this team.”
Paul joins Solmetex with over 25 years of financial and operational leadership within the healthcare market. As CFO, Paul will guide the organizations financial strategy through building teams and systems to support the company’s mission. “I am extremely excited to be a member of the Solmetex organization that excels in delivering innovative solutions and unparalleled customer service within the dental market. Bill brings over 25 years of extensive leadership, marketing and commercialization experience across the consumer packaged goods, financial services and life sciences/healthcare industries to Solmetex, including Diageo, Capital One Financial, Boston Scientific and most recently Sirtex Medical, where he served as Vice President, Marketing focused on the US and Latin America. Overseeing all Marketing and Customer Experience initiatives for Solmetex, Bill and his team will focus on educating and partnering with physicians and their practice staff to optimize a responsible approach to waste solutions and handling. “I’m proud to join an organization with a legacy of leadership in the dental industry, as well as a culture that fosters innovation and personal growth. Early in her clinical hygiene career she recognized how important it was to bring quality, safe, and user-friendly technology to the dental team. Her career includes positions of growing responsibility at Envista (formerly Kerr), Henry Schein and most recently Zest Dental Solutions, and has created a path of high-growth organizations “Now more than ever, the future of our environment is so important. Richard's responsibilities extend beyond the United States, as he actively cultivates business opportunities in international markets. His dedication to fostering strong relationships and forging strategic partnerships is instrumental in promoting Solmetex, Sterisil, and DryShield brands worldwide.
Mike is responsible for supporting and managing the Solmetex DSO business across the Western United States. Mike has been in the dental, medical device, and the pharmaceutical industry for over 20+ years. “I am excited to join the leadership team at Solmetex, bringing three companies together becoming the gold standard in end-to-end water testing, safety, and advanced biologics. I am thrilled to be a part of this dynamic team collaborating with our corporate partners to provide the best-in-class solutions for our customers and most importantly the patients.
Steve joins Solmetex as the Director of Special Markets, East with over 30 years of sales and leadership experience across multiple industries. He has spent the last 20 years as a DSO and Dental Industry Partner overseeing all sales activities of a full-line dental portfolio as well as launching several new dental products at the solo, distributor, and DSO-affiliated practice level. Steve is responsible for providing leadership and supporting the Solmetex Special Markets space covering the eastern half of the United States and Canada. He is known as an award-winning people centric leader. Steve’s passion is for building cohesive and high performing teams and his reputation is for developing and leading those teams to greatness by making the complex simple.

National Accounts Director Matt joins Solmetex with over 20 years of leadership across multiple industries. Most recently with DryShield in 2014 when the company was a start-up manufacturer of dental isolation technologies. Matt was instrumental in elevating DryShield into the category leader that it is today. Matt assumed many roles in his 8 year history, including National Sales Manager where he was responsible for overseeing all sales initiatives (both direct and distribution), including leading a team of sales professionals responsible for revolutionizing the area of isolation dentistry. Matt's ability to build relationships within the dental industry led him to his current role as Special Markets Manager, where he oversees key accounts including all elite, mid-market and emerging group practices, as well as schools and government entities.
