How To Guide: Imagery

High-resolution imagery in clean, clinical environments. Showcase our products in action—whether it’s DryShield being used chairside, Sterisil cartridges in the operatory, or Solmetex recycling solutions integrated into the practice. Aim for polished, professional photography that highlights product functionality and supports a narrative of safety, innovation, and compliance.

Showcase:

  • Proper product installation or usage
  • Dental team members confidently using our solutions
  • Patient comfort and smooth workflow (when patient images are used, always ensure HIPAA compliance)

Things to Avoid

Cluttered or unprofessional environments. Avoid imagery with visible mess, unclear product focus, or lighting that makes the space feel dark or uninviting. Images should convey cleanliness, trust, and high standards of care.

Avoid:

  • Crowded countertops or tangled cords
  • Dim lighting or distracting wall décor
  • Products obscured or out of focus

Background

Use bright, clinical settings with natural or soft lighting. Clean cabinetry, neutral walls, or softly blurred backgrounds help keep the focus on the dental professional and product. Aim for images that reinforce credibility and confidence.

Recommended elements:

  • Clean treatment rooms
  • Organized sterilization areas
  • Well-lit setups with minimal visual noise

SOCIAL MEDIA CONDUCT AND BRAND ALIGNMENT

As a Sterisil Safe Water Ambassador, you represent our brand and values in the dental community. We ask that you maintain a professional social media presence that aligns with our commitment to patient safety and dental excellence.

Social Media Guidelines:

  • Keep your overall social media content professional and appropriate for a healthcare environment
  • Avoid posting content that could be considered controversial, divisive, or potentially offensive to patients or colleagues
  • Remember that current and potential patients may view your profile – consider how your content reflects on you as a dental professional
  • While we respect your right to personal expression, please be mindful that your association with Sterisil may lead others to connect your personal views with our brand

We understand you have a life outside of dentistry! We’re not asking you to change who you are – just to be thoughtful about maintaining the professional standards that make you an excellent healthcare provider.

If you’re unsure whether content aligns with the program, ask yourself:

  • Would I be comfortable if my patients or dental colleagues saw this?
  • Does this reflect the professionalism I bring to patient care?
  • Could this content be misinterpreted or cause unnecessary controversy?

Solmetex reserves the right to discontinue partnerships with ambassadors whose social media presence conflicts with our professional values or could negatively impact our brand reputation.
